I'd put myself down for next year.
as the other dates do feel like we're squeezing ourselves in and could lead to a bit of a farce, just so we can have a doughboys game this year.
while 2010 gives us the time to prepare something really special.

I must admit I am starting to come to the same conclusion, though I remain willing and able to do it if people want.

On a seperate note (another) are PBI planning to do the Oosterbeek event next September?

I'm not sure what the next PBI event will be (other than the training), but I'm pretty sure it'll be in 2010 now... I could be proven wrong though!

I think next year would be the best bet too, shoe horning a game in can lead to people not having the funds to get to one or the other. We're quite few on the ground for US leg infantry, I wouldn't want to lose out on any players at ALSOS or one we were doing through our own actions.

Plus if its early next year onwards Craig can get his Diss out of the way with.

Get a date early next year and advertise it now... should give chance for people to get US Inf kit in their Xmas stockings. :)

All agreed on next Year me thinks.

Oh I think I can write around a dissertation, I'll just spend the summer pretending to myself that it
will be 'all encompassing'.

given that the 'Tunisia' one wants to be hot (and by the way shall we need a gander?) that's best in May/June no? So one earlier?

And though its a bit bad for Webby, I personally am very glad that 'biguck' did not end up with the .30 Cal - not entirely shure why. :ghey-fight:

Lets do an event in Feb/March and then one in the summer or early Autumn.

Wish I could afford the .30cal... heh!

Hehe!

I just need the money at the moment. I want to get a TM M14, and make a Garand out of it. I've asked Chomley to see whether his son wants to sell his as he doesnt use it anymore, I know where I can get the metal work and hand guards from, I just need a wooden stock. (rocking horse poop)
